A woman in her early 20s who recently graduated from college in the United States was shocked to see a man wearing a mask and wearing a suicide vest enter her classroom, a federal judge said Wednesday.
In court filings, the FBI said its agents arrested the suspect, a 22-year-old man, after he allegedly opened fire at her classroom on Jan. 13.
The FBI said in court filings that it was also investigating a possible connection between the suspect and another young man who was killed in an ambush on Jan 20.
The suspect was captured in Pennsylvania after the attack, according to the FBI.
The two suspects were arrested in Maryland and were being held on a $1 million bond.
In addition to the young woman, a third man in his early 20th-year of life was wounded.
He was in stable condition and was expected to survive, according the FBI’s court filings.
